UPDATE, 12/17: This girl has found a new home. Thanks to everyone who shared and offered support!
This week I’m writing about a very sweet and energetic cattle dog who needs a home. (Note: I will update this post when she finds a new home.)
Look at that face and try not to fall in love!
This VERY sweet DEAF girl is looking for a home. She is located in the Fresno, CA area. She was rescued from a shelter earlier this year, when everyone was unaware that she was deaf.
Here is more info from her current home:
“Ziva is nearly 2 years old. She’s a fit, fast and fun. Her zest for life is bar none. She is a ray of sunshine. If it were just me, I’d keep her, but she’s too exuberant for my 4-year-old son. She’s smart. She knows hand signals for come, sit, lay on your bed and good job.”
She is 26lbs, house trained and crate trained. She enjoys other dogs, though her play style can be overbearing, so she needs a little guidance from the people. She checks in frequently with people and looks to them for guidance. She’s an absolute love bug.

UPDATE: More info can be found via the Central California SPCA, which is now advocating for her.
